A Visionary Project Serving the Next Generation

Designed to meet the needs of a growing, dynamic student community, the Ecla Lomme-Lille campus is led by UXCO Group, a prominent player in the student housing sector. The foundation stone ceremony, which signaled the formal start of construction, was attended by institutional figures and key partners, including Olivier Caremelle, Mayor of Lomme; Audrey Linkenheld, Senator of the Nord region; Mael Aoustin, President of UXCO Group; Florelle Visentin-Klein, President of Océanis Promotion; Olivier Camau, Regional Director for Hauts-de-France at the Banque des Territoires; and Arte Charpentier representatives Jérôme Le Gall, Associate Architect, and Pauline Rabin Le Gall, Landscape Architect.

An Innovative Architectural and Landscape Design by Arte Charpentier

Responsible for the architectural, landscape, and interior design of this residence, Arte Charpentier is applying its expertise to create a space that is harmonious, welcoming, and stimulating. Located in Lomme, this 18,000 m² residence will be ready by summer 2026 and will offer 800 beds along with 2,100 m² of shared spaces designed to foster interaction and community living. Created to encourage creativity, innovation, and social connection, these spaces will include coworking areas, fitness rooms, a cinema, and much more.

“This large-scale project embodies our commitment to creating living environments adapted to modern lifestyles and respectful of the environment,” emphasized Jérôme Le Gall, Associate Architect at Arte Charpentier, during the event.

A Sustainable and Inspiring Living Environment

The Ecla Lomme-Lille residence embodies a shared vision for sustainable, innovative student housing. This project reflects the shared ambition of Arte Charpentier and UXCO Group to address the growing challenges of student accommodation in France by designing spaces that encourage both personal and communal growth for younger generations. Combining modern amenities, shared spaces, and refined design, Ecla Lomme-Lille sets a new standard for next-generation residences where well-being and community are at the heart of the experience.

Arte Charpentier is proud to contribute to the development of this major campus and, alongside UXCO Group and Océanis, to create a living environment that reflects values of sharing, interaction, and environmental responsibility.
