Construction of the BAPS Mandir Traditional Hindu Temple in Paris, designed by Arte Charpentier (architecture, landscape, interior design, construction) began in the spring of 2024, and we’re sharing its progress with you, looking back at its key stages.

Work on the RER A side

Work on the foundations has been completed, as has the load-bearing slab on the first floor. The double-height concrete walls on the north side have been poured; this height corresponds to the cultural base of the “Haveli” project.

Interior Work

Some of the interior walls have been poured, including all network and support reservations for the R+1 slab.

Waterproofing and underground walls

At the same time, waterproofing work on the underground walls is underway, with the installation of the casing. This essential step is designed to guarantee lasting protection against damp and rising water, an important aspect given the presence of technical equipment in the basement.

Completion of the temple is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026, with construction progressing according to schedule.

Many thanks to the teams working on the Hindu Temple project inBussy-Saint-Georges, in particular the EPA Marne, Bateg and GS Construction.
